Twenty minutes in green surroundings is enough to lower our levels of the stress hormone cortisol. So go for a walk or sit outside in nature each day to clear your mind.

PHONE DETOX

 

It’s tempting to reach for your phone when you need a distraction. But try putting it down for a few hours or even a whole day. You might find it harder to be without it than you expected, but you may also discover new ways to spend your time and regain energy.

TRY MEDITATION OR YOGA

   

Meditation, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques are methods you can use to reduce stress. What they have in common is that they help calm the mind, relieve tension, and generally improve your mental well-being.

DISCOVER WHAT GIVES YOU ENERGY

   

It can be helpful to understand your energy levels so you know what to prioritise over the summer. Think about what gives you energy and what drains it. Then try to plan for a bit more of what energises you during the vacation.

   

    

  

RECHARGE!

You deserve to relax and recharge. But while you're lying there in the hammock, take a moment to reflect on your student life, rediscover what drives you, what you're passionate about, and what motivates you in your studies.
